Painted Geometric Cardboard Adjustable Ring

This ring is made out of a painted cardboard earring that lost its mate. There is a faded signature on the back of the cardboard piece that I can't make out, but it is dated '89.

The ring band is adjustable as well as nickel free. The adjustable part is hidden in the front rather than in the back. The last image shows how this looks.
